From October 17th to 19th, 2025, the "Giornata delle Ville Venete" (Venetian Villas Day) will take place, an event dedicated to the opening and promotion of the historic villas of the Veneto and Friuli-Venezia Giulia regions.
The program includes guided tours with the owners, tastings, readings, workshops for families, and experiences related to wellness and nature.
On Friday, the 17th, an inaugural conference is scheduled on the theme "Venetian Villas Beyond Borders," to delve into the history and identity of these residences.
During the weekend, visitors can follow thematic routes such as "Villa Life" or "What If It Rains?," designed to suit different interests and needs.
Special activities are planned in Padua and its province: exclusive visits, concerts, sensory events, and itineraries through lesser-known villas.
Among the offerings are: "Villa or Castle?", interactive workshops, special openings, and musical moments inside the historic homes.
In Valsanzibio, at the Monumental Garden, guided tours will be offered along the symbolic path of purification, amidst nature and allegories.
The event aims to showcase the villa as a living place, connected to culture, the territory, and the community, not just as a historical testament.
These days offer an opportunity to (re)discover the artistic and architectural heritage of the area through participatory experiences.
Booking is recommended to participate: many activities have limited capacity, and the full program is available on the official website.
